About the event
Venture off the beaten track and surrender to a weekend of flavour and discovery at Mallee Spirit Craft Gin Distillery in Lameroo – South Australia's 2025 Agricultural Town of the Year. Guests can extend this day-long event with a two-night camping stay, making for a memorable South Aussie experience.
The adventure begins Friday night if you wish, arrive, set up camp and enjoy a casual evening, perhaps some light food and a drink at the broadacre bar getting to know fellow guests. Saturday, there are multiple guided coach tours available if you wish, exploring the town’s fantastic museum, uncovering the Lameroo and district story hosted by the Lameroo Historical Society and visit a local mixed farming enterprise.
There, a 5th generation resident farming family will guide guests through modern systems, from broad-acre cropping and centre pivot irrigation, to olive grove cultivation. Then, from 4pm, local food icons Ann Venning and…
